Hearing Aid Specialist

In 1999, I began working at a hearing clinic as the receptionist. Within a few months, I knew helping people restore their hearing was my career passion. I went back to school, studied under my mentor and received my Certification in Hearing Healthcare and my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I am not owned by a large corporation that dictates what I can provide for my patients. I have the autonomy to make decisions that benefit you, not a large manufacturer.

We provide a full range of comprehensive diagnostic testing using state-of-the-art equipment to determine the degree and type of hearing loss, if any, that you may have.

Tinnitus can be intermittent or constant with single or multiple tones, and its perceived volume can range from subtle to intense. Tinnitus happens but treatment is available.

Hearing aid fittings are both a science and an art. We work together to determine the exact settings just for you. Support is available for the life of your aids.

After you make an investment in your hearing, you will want to keep them in good working order to make sure you are always hearing as clearly as possible.

Hearing Aid Specialist

I knew helping people restore their hearing was my career passion. I went back to school, studied under my mentor and received my Certification in Hearing Healthcare and my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I have also furthered my education by taking online courses in Neuroanatomy to learn more about how the brain works.

Hearing Aid Specialist

Alyssa joined the Advanced Hearing team in May of 2023. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her bachelors in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. As of August 2025, she is officially a certified hearing aid provider and is excited to be a part of the Advanced Hearing team going forward.

Assistant

Kathy joined Advanced Hearing Services in September 2018. She is Susan’s assistant and supports Susan during your appointment to offer training and education. Kathy is very knowledgeable about hearing devices, connectivity to phones and accessories.

Advanced Hearing has taken very good care of us with any issues that have occurred with our devices and any adjustments needed—standing behind their work, products and guarantees. Susan provides continued evaluation of our hearing health—wax removal, periodic testing, cleaning and adjustment of aids.
